Fabric covered boxes!
Cover and decorate with fabric and ribbons. Use a brush to apply glue in a thin layer to prevent it from going through the fabric. The roses are tied with fabric strips and sewn together with a few stitches at the bottom edge. The flower on the book is drawn and cut out from various fabrics, then ironed on with vlisofix. We traced a stencil, and we simplified and pulled up the pattern a bit. The book makes a beautiful diary or guestbook.
