String pennants & archives!
You can make anything with paper, such as pennants and beautiful decorations on boxes, as shown in the picture. Heres what weve done. ARCHIVE BOX: Distress the edges of the box. Choose 4 different papers, tear and distress the edges, and glue them on so that they are overlapping. Attach the ribbon to the inside of the lid. Cut out a tag (label) and decorate it with swirls; attach with a piece of string. STRING PENNANTS: Make a template for the biggest triangle and use that; then all of the pennants will be the same size. After that, you can cut out different, smaller triangles and build them up on top of one another. For added effect, use pattern scissors to cut out some of the triangles. Decorate with swirls and foam letters. Measure the holes for the eyelets and attach them with the eyelet tool. Then thread the pennants onto a string/ribbon; tie on extra ribbon for a more festive feel.
